Barbara Grewe and Michael Hurley both served as Senior Counsel to the Commission.  

Michael Hurley is a veteran CIA case officer, attorney and lecturer.  He is one of the nation’s renowned experts on national security, advising both private companies and government agencies. Michael lead the counterterrorism policy investigation team for the 9/11 Commission.

Dr. Barbara Grewe is currently a Portfolio Director for International Strategy and Policy at the MITRE Corporation.  She has experience as a federal prosecutor in the District of Columbia, Special Investigative Counsel for the Department of Justice Inspector General, and other government posts.
